Obituary

Tuenis Rozeboom of Mayer, AZ, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the age of 78. Tuenis was born on October 2, 1935 in Doon, IA to Gerrit and Antonia Rozeboom. Tuenis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Adriana VanderBoon March 25, 1960. Tuenis was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was well known for his genuine kindness, strength, and commitment to his Christian faith. He is survived by his loving family: his devoted wife, Adriana Rozeboom; his three children, Marie Freeman (Ronald Freeman), Glenn Rozeboom (Lori Rozeboom) and Laura Magoffie (Kurt Skultin); six grandchildren; Audrianne Freeman, Garret Freeman, Grant Rozeboom (Leah Rozeboom), Lincoln Rozeboom, Erin Magoffie, and Jacob Magoffie; two brothers Tony Rozeboom (Marcia) and Leonard Rozeboom (Frieda); and three sisters, Clazina Spaans, Gert VanBeek (John) and Jennieva DenBoer (Willis). He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit and Antonia Rozeboom and his brothers, Dick and Gary Rozeboom. Military graveside services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:30am.
